it was long overdue
so long that stars have died
and lived to become something else
rather than wishing entities
it was long overdue
so long that the waves parted and dried
only to become something else
rather than a basket
for unread messages in bottles
it was long overdue
it was way too impossible
to find some glitch in time
to find something else
or anything at all
that could bring back my sanity
or bring you back to me
cause even though
it's way past the deadline
way past what could've become
if only i was strong enough
to stay longer
then it wouldn't be too late
nor it would be long overdue
for you to give me another chance
to write a better ending
to this published tragedy
