I woke up early before my alarm. I went to the studio and demoed alone. I wrote a song called Dear you. our producer walked in as I did play back.
“Let me help.”He said
I sat in the booth and re did it.
it took an hour to fix it and make it amazing
“Sarah you okay?”John asked
“No.”I said
“That song is honest.”
“Yeah.”I said as my bandmates walked in.
“Listen.”John said as my scratchy sad, pain filled voice echoed over the speakers. The words they stung. But nothing was ever more real.
“What happened?”Allyson asked
“I am gonna go.”I said as Rian walked in
“You okay?”
“No.”I said as Rian hugged me and the song replayed.everyone looked at his face.
“Rian whats wrong?”Sam asked
“John can you burn me a copy.”
It was burned and than we left.
We went to a restaurant. Rian walked in I followed he walked over to a table where my entire family was. I followed and sat next to my mom as he handed someone the cd. it played. I just sat there. everyone slowly started to look at me.. it ended and everyone is still staring.
“Case and point she writes her feelings, none of us would have known exactly what she was thinking nor would we have heard that song.” “None of you get that she only wants you some things about her life but you all think what she puts out there is just who she is,Dad Sarah isn’t a slacker nor did she give up education for a band. if any of you just sat down and just listened to her lyrics you would know exactly why she does stuff,her songs aren’t just about love and whatever, her songs are deep and maybe if you all actually opened a cd and played it you would know.‘Rian said
