Nobody slept that night. After what happened, which has been nicknamed the Dark Bomb (creative, I know), nothing was the same. The villains has disappeared during what transpired, and All for One's attack had been called off due to his fear, and dismay. There was no point if he couldn't fight (y/n).

Ground Zero, the mile radius around the villain's lair, had been completely levelled, narrowly missing civilian casualties. Reporters and police swarmed the area, snapping shots of anything and everything. The blood-soaked heroes. The nearly-crumbled building. The body bags, which had people, including all of her classmates and mother, asking if perhaps (y/n) was in one of those bags.

They got their answer after about 15 minutes of pleading to be let on scene, and being denied. Katsuki, covered in blood that wasn't his, walked stiffly out of the building. His eyes cast down, not wanting to reveal his raw and red face to the public. But nobody was paying attention to his face. All eyes were on her, and not due to her beauty or wit this time.

(y/n) slumped in Katsuki's arms like a ragdoll, lifeless. Her mother broke down crying, Mitsuki, who had come with her, trying her best to comfort her. She was still so beautiful in death, even with too-pale lips and skin.

Paramedics rushed to Katsuki, who wouldn't let her go, carrying her to the ambulance. The people parted like the red sea as he carried her to the ambulance that couldn't reach the building due to the crowd.

People say that when your world ends, the world around keeps revolving, spinning around unaffected. But with her death, it wasn't so. People all over the world wept for her, for him.

Present Mic went on to deliver the news, his usual excited voice somber, but still booming.

The Best Jeanist, No. 4 hero who barely escaped death, is taking a rest from his duties as a hero for an extended period of time. On top of that, Ragdoll, the No. 32 hero and member of the "pussy cats" who strongly rooted popularity in the hero community...following her abduction, has undergone an abnormal change, and thus her quirk has become unfit for use! Therefore, her hero career has been suspended. In but a single night, many heroes have suffered sever injuries and losses! This is truly "God's Nightmare"! Exactly what will become of Japan from here on out?! And what of its heroes?

Ragdoll was surrounded by the pussycats as she sobbed, not only for herself, but for others as well. Kouta stood in the doorway watching and listening. The TV once again cracked to life.

And now, for (f/n) (l/n), better known as Gaia. While she's not yet a hero, she is today. The young hero single handedly defeated the villain squad and the terrible monsters known as noumu, which is something not even the highest ranked heroes could do. To save us, she gave up herself. She is now on life support in an undisclosed hospital, however, due to her stated wishes, she will soon be taken off it it. Rest in Peace, (y/n), we'll never forget you.

Nobody was left untouched. Kouta cried with his family speechlessly. (y/n)'s mother only sobbed harder. The students of UA stood motionless, wondering how they let this happen. They were the ones, after, that let her go to save him. The heroes sat in a silent meeting, not knowing what words to say to explain what had happened. And then there was him. He, who was not allowed in her hospital room due to the hospital's rule. He, who had to be tranquilized to stop fighting the nurses to see her. He, who sat in the waiting room, an empty husk of who he once was.

All for one sat in a dark room, behind a small tv screen, re-watching the event over and over again. It wasn't over for him, and he blamed the heroes for letting her die. For what reason he cared was unknown.

Katsuki was borderline catatonic when it happened. It seemed like the hospital had been sleeping, and was only now woken up. Stagnant nurses with pitying faces jumped into action. Katsuki noticed this, raising from his seat, and ran to the nurses desk, slamming on the counter and demanding her attention.

"What the fuck is happening?!" He demanded, nearly grabbing her by the collar.

    "I'm afraid I can't-"

"Don't you dare give me that bullshit." He seethed, and she took a precautionary step back.

"Look kid, I'm new here, you're going to have to ask a higher up-" She began but was cut off again.

"Listen here bitch for brains, there's a phone, you have fingers and a voice box, so use them before you fucking lose them." Heat radiated off him, and Mitsuki had to restrain him as the woman picked up the phone. After an excruciating minute (which seemed like an hour) of yes, patient 05682, uh-huh, what?, what should I say, okay, she finally hung up the phone and cleared her throat, taking another step back as security guards entered the room.

"Miss (l/n) has, by some miracle, woken up, however, she explicitly stated not to allow "Katsuki Baka-gou" into her room." The nurse explained the ending in a small voice.

"Fuck that!" Katsuki began to run, but was cut off by the guards who had entered. He thrashed around, kicking and screaming and exploding as another nurse came to tranquilize him. After some struggle, he finally broke away, sprinting down the hallways to find her. Questions of why and how whirling around his mind, which he silenced without hesitation. He didn't care. She was alive.

When he broke into the room filled with doctors and nurses and (y/n)'s mom, everyone's immediate reaction was to try and push him away.

"Get off of me! Let me see her you fucktards!" He hit anybody he could, he didn't care.

"Let him go." A weak voice was somehow heard above the ruckus, and everyone let go of Katsuki, who shoved his way through to the solitary bed in the room.

(y/n)'s face was turned away from him as he stood over the bed. The people slowly left the room, leaving the two to be.

"They weren't supposed to let you come." She stated solemnly.

"You must really be brain dead if you thought for a second anybody could stop me from seeing you." Katsuki's words were angry, but his voice was not. (y/n) began shaking, from what at first Katsuki thought to be laughing, but realized that was not so when the sobs began. He was at a loss, not knowing what to do.

    "Why?" She sniffled.

    "What?" Katsuki didn't understand.

"Why? Why are you here? Why do you care? I'm terrible, disgusting. I don't deserve you." She continued, choking on her own words. Katsuki couldn't believe his own ears. He couldn't find the words to respond, so he placed his hand on her shoulder and turned her to him. She opened her mouth to speak, but was cut off by Katsuki's own lips.

Bewildered, (y/n) pushed him away from her weakly.

"What was that for?" She asked incredulously.

"That was for the hundreds of moments before that I've wanted to kiss you."

    "Why?"

"Because you fucking idiot, I, uh, love you. Yeah. That's it, I fucking love you." He declared, the words feeling foreign but right in his mouth. (y/n) was statue still.

"Well aren't you going to fucki-" He was cut off by (y/n)s lips, the tables had turned. She didn't have the energy to sit up, so she pulled him down onto the bed with her.

They broke the kiss to catch their breath, panting as they stared into eachother's eyes.

"Am I in heaven?" She asked seriously, not believing the turn of events.

"Look around, dumbass. I wouldn't call this shitty place heaven, more like hell." He mused, fighting a smile. She laughed, and his entire being felt a wave of calmness, like peace was restored in the world again.

"Heaven's anywhere I'm with you, idiot." She shook her head as Katsuki pulled him into his chest, as he had done so many times before. But it was different now. He didn't have to act like he didn't like it. He didn't have to lie to himself.

"Now THAT'S what I call cheesy." The two blissful teens turned to see class 1-A of UA, Kirishima smirking and leaning in the doorway.

"It takes death for you idiots to finally admit your feelings, huh?" Kirishima continued, and (y/n)'s face burned red.

"Get the fuck out!" Katsuki growled, taking the tray of food on the bedside table and throwing it at them. Kirishima narrowly missed it, but it hit denki square in the face. The class got the message, left quick I'm so happys and thank gods before leaving the two to their own devices.

"I really wanted that jello, it was my favorite flavor." (y/n) pouted, looking longingly at where the jello once was.

"Tough luck, fuckass, you get me." He grumbled, pulling her closer into him. She began to drift off into a peaceful sleep as he slowly ran his fingers through her hair. It reminded her of when she slept with Katsuki at the summer lodge, when she told him she loved him. That reminded her.

"I love you too, Kacchan" She said sleepily.

"I know, you told me." He replied, referencing to that same night.

In a turn of events, the hero known as Gaia, aka (y/n), has miraculously recovered! She is now sleeping tight with her partner, the dynamic duo, Gaia and the - er - Baron of Explodo-Kills. Good night to you all, and to all a good night!

A/N - Keep it short and sweet right? I wanted to hold off on posting this, but alas, I could not. So enjoy. I love you guys <3
