She looked up and saw the clock. Veronica was preparing to go out with the Richmond Family and eat dinner.
"My dear, after 10 minutes we need to go. Dad is coming with us." Her mum called from downstairs.
Veronica got into her favorite party dress that looked like this:

It was turquoise and was a bit lacey.
Then she dashed down the living room, in her fancy slippers and slipped her lower paws into matching shoes that looked like this:

and wore her white lace gloves.
"You have 5 more minutes left, honey!" Veronica's dad called from the backyard.
"Then Nelson will drive the limo!"
Nelson was the Richmond family's personal driver.
"Almost done!" Veronica responded. Veronica dashed back up to her room and applied foundation to her face, added some eyeshadow then took her new perfume, Artemis's Diamond. She dashed down the stairs again and went out the backyard, through the fence gate and into the limo.
Then she sprayed some of the new perfume from Victoria's diamond, Artemis's Diamond, on. What she didn't know that on the label, the ingredients contained Lily flower powder and Veronica was super allergic to Lilies. (Remember Artemis's Diamond? It looked like this: )

When they were halfway there, Veronica started sneezing.
"What's wrong, dear? Have you caught a cold? When you opened the car window did you smell some lilies?" Her mum asked urgently.
"I don't know," Veronica sniffed.
"I think there's lily powder-achoo! In the perfume..-achoo!"
Veronica's dad checked the perfume's label.
Her dad sighed.
"Oh, honey! It does contain lily powder. I think we can't attend the dinner."
"No!" Veronica whined. She had wanted to impress her cousins, Esmerelda and Christal with her new turquoise dress and shoes.
"Just lemme text the others! I'm sure they'll postpone! I really want to go next time-Achoo!" Veronica cried. Her parents exchanged glances.
Veronica Richmond: Sorry everyone, I can't attend the dinner but please postpone it! I really want to go! :'(
Esmeralda Richmond: Why Veronica?
Veronica Richmond: I bought Victoria's Diamond's latest perfume, Artemis's Diamond, but I didn't know that it contained LILY POWDER!
Esmeralda Richmond: Wow! Christal bought it too and I was just about to write a text for her that we want to postpone the dinner!
Sharon Richmond: Maybe next time. Oh well, I'll call the restaurant.
James Richmond: Aww man! This sucks! If it wasn't for Veroni and Chris, I could've showed you all my sweet new pop dance moves I've been teaching my dance school!
Sharon Richmond: James, you should feel sorry that Veronica and Christal are allergic. I'm sure they won't stop sneezing until tomorrow!
James Richmond: Sweet! Sneezy Saturday is going to be perfect payback for Veroni and Chris for ruining my chance to show you my awesome dance moves!
Sharon Richmond: James! Apologize to Veronica and Chirstal! Sorry everybody, about James's behavior!
Veronica Richmond: Oh, that's OK, Aunt Sharon!
Christal Richmond: I don't mind James's behavior at all!
