After we had our little bump in, Josh suddenly started whining about the fact that he hadn't had anything since breakfast. Then I remembered I had promised a night out with him. "Josh we're going out tonight remember?" I say while looking in his pantry for a snack. "It also might benefit us to go grocery shopping soon", I add, severely disappointed with his pantry contents. He looks confused for a second and his eyes brighten in remembrance.

"Oh yeah how about Outback?", he asks, intrigued in a t.v commercial about a blanket with arm holes. "Sounds great!", I say excitedly, ready to go on a date with Josh. Wait. I stop my thought process completely and think about what I just thought. This is not a date. He's "dating someone" and as much as I don't want to admit, this is essentially set up so I can learn more information. I excuse myself to go into Tyler's room and get ready. Once up there, I start flipping through my small amount of clothes. I eventually went with a light strawberry pink sun dress with brown sandals and curled my hair and applied satisfactory make up.

Once done with my look and walk back downstairs. I see josh fiddling with his bow tie, get irritated because he can't tie it, and mutter things underneath his breath. I snicker and walk over and fix it. "You look nice", he whispers while I'm fixing his tie, my tongue stuck out in concentration. I blush and step back and breath out, "Same to you Jish" He raises his eyebrows and smirks. "Jish? That's new". I roll my eyes and lightly slap his shoulder jokingly. "Well get used to it", I smile. Oh boy. This is going to be extremely hard to write this story.

We were seated at a booth for two. Drinks ordered, Appetizers on the way, it was time to start asking questions. "You've got siblings right?", I ask, starting off lightly. He looks at me with bright eyes. Making this harder for the umpteenth time today. "Yeah. Jordan, Ashley and Abby", he answers tapping his fork lightly on the cup of sweet tea he ordered. Time to dig a bit deeper. "Hey josh can I ask a serious question?" I ask slowly, trying not to step out of my boundaries. His tone and facial expressions changed into seriousness. "Of course Elly, anytime". He gives me a nod and I ask my question.

"Which one of your siblings is least supportive towards you and the band in your opinion?" I ask "innocently", hopefully feigning general interest. I mean I was interested in what he had to say, but this was also unfortunately business. "Um well I guess Abby is probably the least supportive out of all of them but they are all supportive really. Like Abby and I have different lives and we don't get to see each other really".

I got what I needed to hear. Abby. The rest of the information was irrelevant. He frowns and speaks up. "Hey that was oddly specific is everything all right?", he asks holding my right hand on the table. Oh this hurt so much to do, but how else can I get a job? With my situation, this is the best way possible. "Yeah. Everything's fine I just wanted to know how you handle with your fame and family at the same time" . He nods humming to himself. "You should listen to our song Lane Boy. It addresses that exact question pretty well", he suggests. I decided that later I would.

The next day•

I yawn excessively loud and start to get ready for the day when the door suddenly throws open, showing an exposed Elly. "HEY WATCH IT IM NAKED!", I shout and cover myself up. I look back at the door frantically to see that it's Abby. Josh's girlfriend. She was looking at me like a piece of trash she threw away without a care. I shook my head no frantically to get through to her that I didn't want her to get josh, but my attempt failed. "JOOOOSHH", she yells as she stomped her foot. He stumbles in the door way, clearly rudely awakened. "What.. Abby what's going on..__" he yawns tiredly and looks at me and then double takes as widens his eyes. "Josh this is the exact same girl from the "interview", you told me about. Are.... you cheating on me?", she asks in a hushed and hurt tone. I stayed silent during this exchange, messing with my auburn hair nonchalantly. "Abby I'm sorry I've been lying to you", he starts. I frantically shake my head no. Is he crazy?! He can't tell her the truth, not now anyways. I need to stay here a little longer. "This is Elly". The deeper he goes the more I feel my plan dripping down the drain. "And she's my new roommate", he said and grimaced for a second. This girl was daft enough to belief anything so I had hope. "Oh," she frowns. "Elly? Was it? Sorry for barging in I had no idea Joshua had a roommate other then Tyler", she says, extended her hand for a shake. We awkwardly shake, because it's not easy keeping a star wars blanket just right on your body so it doesn't fall off.

"Nice save", I breathe out, plopping in the couch with Josh. Yet again, Abby had left to go shopping or getting her nails done or something girly to that extent. "Thanks", he said quietly. Awkward silence falls. I mean I don't blame him. I was naked in front of him an hour ago. Boy getting to know Abby was difficult. You couldn't make it through a single sentence without her talking about herself. I look around, and my eyes lay upon the pantry door. "Hey Jish lets go get those groceries now", I suggested. "Yeah ok sure!," he said, excited to have the conversation back.

Have way through the trip we had gotten everything we legitimately needed and we were then goofing off. Josh put grapefruit in his shirt and started acting like he had a decent sized chest and I couldn't resist any longer and I busted out laughing. I tried to fit myself in the freezer a couple times, stuffed a bag of frozen peas down josh's pants. To which he chased me with a cheap broom. I posed next to the milk fridge and josh took my picture. He sent it to Brendon afterwords. Josh and I slapped meat, laughed at the off brand cereals, and had a deep talk about Go Gurt and Danimals and why they were better. All the grown ups with lives were staring at us wildly. After all of this blows over and the story is published, these shenanigans, trashing grocery stores, I will always remember.
