"Hey, everybody! It's Kayla here, and today we have a very special guest— Miss. Valentina Rivera!"

Valentina smiled and waved at the camera that was pointed at her before returning her attention to the young woman sat in the armchair next to her. She was currently sat in the decked out warehouse of Fangirl News, a small, yet rapidly growing, company created by a group of women. Valentina had heard of them before, of course— nearly every celebrity had by this point, and she'd even been following their Blog and newsite for a few months. The women —  aged between eighteen and twenty-six— wrote, and vlogged, about celebrities, ships, TV shows, and even had an entire page dedicated to conspiracy theories for nearly every show known to man. Despite their popularity with the fans, they'd had hardly any celebrities in for interviews, and Valentina was most definitely honoured to be in the Top Five, as Kayla, the perky, pink-haired girl with a bright smile, had told her when she agreed to do this interview just hours before, after bumping into said girl at a Subway just down the street.

"So, I just wanted to warn everyone right now that neither of us are prepared for this interview," Kayla told the camera, her smile never once faltering, "And it's only happening because Valentina is a fucking saint, and agreed to do this when my stupid mouth blurted out how I wanted to interview her when we bumped into each other a little while ago. So, yeah, this is going to be a mess of an interview." The young woman laughed, prompting a laugh out of Valentina, too. She reminded Valentina a lot of her High School best friend, from the brightly coloured hair all the way to the scuffed converse on her feet. "First thing's first, though. Congratulations are in order! I've got to say, when I first heard you were pregnant, I couldn't believe it! Mostly because a part of me still thinks that you and Jane are the same person, but also because it was so unexpected! How are you feeling? When's the due date?"

"The little nugget is due on the third of April next year," Valentina said, smiling down at her stomach affectionately. The bump was barely there, and probably invisible to everyone else, but she could see it. She could see it, maybe, because it was her own body that was changing, her own baby changing it.

"Nearly five months," Kayla hummed, "Are you excited?"

"Incredibly," Valentina nodded, "But I'm also equal parts nervous. This is my first baby — obviously — and I wasn't expecting it, I wasn't planning on becoming pregnant. Then again, I think very few people plan on getting pregnant after a one-night stand, you know? But, I'm excited, and I'm eager to meet my little nugget."

"I'm excited, too, if I'm being completely honest with you," she laughed, curling her legs up beneath body, "I think I might cry when news comes out that you've had the baby. I've been a big fan for a long time. I was actually wondering, and this question is a bit intrusive, so you don't have to answer at all if it makes you uncomfortable, okay, if you'd faced any criticism over the fact that your baby was conceived through a one night stand?" She asked, her smile turning sheepish but still remaining on her face. Valentina wondered if the young woman ever stopped smiling.

Leaning back in the chair, Val's hand moved to rest upon her stomach, "I've received less than I was expecting, to be honest with you. I knew that not everyone was going to be particularly happy with it, but I don't let it bother me." She shrugged. "This baby— this baby is mine and the Father's, and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's not like we can change the circumstances of their conception, you know? We've come to terms with it, and everyone else should, too, really. It might not be the most ideal way to start a family, but I'm not the first person to have a child this way. It doesn't make me any less of a Mother just because I wasn't planning on having a baby yet, you know?"

"I understand you completely," Kayla nodded, "I have a— I have a daughter who was conceived through similar circumstances, and not everyone was incredibly pleased with how she was conceived, but I love her, so much. I can tell that you're going to be a good parent, and I'm sure that the Father will be a good Dad, too— I trust your judgement on that one. I know you don't want to reveal the Father's identity yet, so I'm not going to ask. Instead, I'm going to ask whether or not you know whether the baby is going to be a boy or a girl? Or if you have any preference as to what they're going to be?"

"I don't know, yet— and I'm not sure if I'm going to find out before the baby's born or not, to be honest with you," Valentina laughed. "Honestly, I'd be happy with either— as long as the baby's happy and healthy, then I'm happy, you know? And I mean that, one-hundred percent. As long as the baby is happy, then there's nothing more I could ask for."

"Damn, I'm tearing up." Kayla wiped at her eyes, then let out a laugh. "Maybe we should move onto your work next, yeah? Do you have anything new coming up?"

"Honestly, I'm planning on taking a short hiatus after I've finished filming for season four of Jane the Virgin. I probably won't take up any new roles until a few months after the baby's born and everything is going steadily, you know? I'll obviously continue with Jane, no matter what, but I don't want to take up anything new until me and the baby are settled," Valentina said, brushing a hand through her hair, "Plus, I could always take the baby on set with me, you know? The cast and crew are some of my closest friends, so if I'm stuck, I don't think they'd mind taking care of the baby for me while I'm doing my scenes!"

"Can I say that I'm honestly awed that you have this all figured out already?" Kayla asked, another laugh bubbling from her lips. "I didn't figure half of this stuff out until after my daughter was born." She glanced sideways at one of the women behind the camera, then sighed. "Unfortunately, that's all we have time for today! I hope you had as good a time as I've had!"

"I've honestly loved every second of being here," Valentina laughed, "Thanks for having me!"
