Returning back to reality, Cole saw Adrian fighting with Alexis. He then left Alexis and pulled one of the rich girls onto the dance floor, smirking. I glanced over to Lexi and saw her sitting in the corner alone, watching him dance with the girl with tears in her eyes.
"This is my chance," Cole thought.
Cole walked towards Alexis as though she was a magnet pulling him towards her. "Hello, beautiful," he said.
"Hello, stranger," she replied.
"So did it hurt when you fell?" he asked.
"Huh?"
"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" he grinned.
"No, but it will hurt when I kick your ass, Cole."
"How did you know it was me?" he asked.
"You're the only person I know who would use those cheesy pickup lines."
"Come on, you have to admit they were good."
"Again, only you would think that," she said.

The second they started to move, he could feel her in his arms, where she belonged. His hand brushed through her hair and he looked into her deep blue eyes, seeing laughter glittering in them.
"Well, I feel lucky tonight," he whispered in her ear.
"Why?" she asked.
"Because I'm dancing with the most beautiful woman in the room."
"You wait until I step on all your toes," she said, blushing at his comment.
He laughed while dipping her forward and looking into her eyes. He pulled her hips close to him before pushing her away, as he thought she was terrible, yet at the same time, magnificent.
"Back up the day now What did I do to get us to this point Me losing you in this moment I feel it, deep in my chest I can't breathe"
He held onto her left hand with his right, spinning her out and away, before reeling her back in, unable to give her up.
"Thank you, Cole."
