Twilight Sonata

Wading through the thrust of twilight's fingers into the rain forest
Bedrocks bleached with ancient blood
Seeping through the patches of saw-grass
As the chest of mountains left bare with shrieks of slumber

Palm fronds, fallen twigs, and broken fern leaves accumulating
Through the labyrinth-pavement rowed with bird shadows
Disquieting silence broken with an abrupt thunderclap
The monstrous fires outshine the twilight gas lamps

The invisible fragile spider webs that outgrown the wild vines
Hanging by the wall covered with lichens
Now...
The gentle moonlight dispersed through the treetop's doors
Entering the windows towards the chest of the beautiful bones
buried in the past.
buried in the before.
