Keeping the tip of the tissue on the corner of her eyes,
She learnt how to silence her cries.

Stuffed her mouth with the suffocating air,
Thought roo was the best way to bare.

The cruelty of the world was slowly consuming her mind,
Took her granted for she was just kind.

In a world of coal she was the diamond,
If only people were realistic underneath raymond.

Standards are set by society itself claming highest,
I bet who started this had the lowest.

Yet her standard was uncomparable with those of outer beauty,
Though she drank away all the hate as her duty.

She knew well than to explain,
She knew no one would uderstand her pain.

She got used to the looks people gave,
As if taking away her purity by the ocean wave.

She did try to stand strong,
But you get tired of doing it for so long.

Eventually her legs wobbled and hard she fell,
Tried hard again and again but nothing made it well.

People passed with emotionless face,
Asking for help just increased their pace.

Weather was cold just like the people around,
In a world like this she didn't expect a hope to be found.

Stared aimlessly at the sky so dark,
She whispered causing the clouds to spark.

'What if I say I'd die today,
Would you care in any way.'

She knew she had faith,
She just had to wait.

For the god above will warm her up,
Just like a hot coffee in a cup.

Or maybe send an angel in human form,
Atleast one who would stand against the false norms.

She is still waiting my friends, just like the other,
Whom you might have crossed today but failed to bother.

And each day we loose a diamond so precious,
We unseen a one so gracious.

A smile is all they need,
Love is their only greed.

So why do we hell their life,
Why make them live at the tip of the knife.

Color, gender, cast, religion are all names,
Don't people get sick of playing this pointless games?
