Dream

I had a dream yesterday,
And lets just say,
I lived a little that day.

I was back to four,
Running out the door,
Wanting to play more and more.

No worries to carry around,
When your bestfriends surround,
Your laugh being the loudest sound.

My eyes tied with the blindfold,
Not seeing humanity getting sold,
Busy trying to be bold.

Then I open my eyes,
Saw the cruelty rise,
And thats how my dream slowly dies.

I still kept quite,
As if the blindfold was held tight,
Trying to believe everything was right.

As my blindfold untied by itself I heard a scream,
Followed by the other as a team,
Waking me up from my actual dream.

That's when I noticed the changes around me,
Suddenly nothing seemed glee,
Only peoples scream to set them free.

The blindfold covered not only my eyes but ears too,
Making me live in this world without a clue,
Guess I have a lot of work due.

We all have blindfolds on us,
Which helps others to create a fuss,
But it's about time they know we have a lot to discuss.

It took me a dream to snap back to reality,
A blindfold to make me face their cruelty,
A scream for freedom to fulfill my duty.

What about you?
Did you have a dream too?
Or are you still living without a clue?
