Sinking

Today just let me scream everything I have been meaning to,
Just let me run with all my thoughts attacking like a viral flu.

No control over the fake people breaking my trust,
I fix up the shattered pieces only to be crumbled by their gust.

I smile, I laugh but it's all fake,
Can't you see how much effort they take.

I am somewhere deep down under the water sinking,
Don't bother to bring me up from my thinking.

I am too far away from your reach,
After all distancing oneself was your preach.

My soul is crumbling it can't take anymore,
Tears are dry making my eyes sore.

Why do people break my trust is the only thing I ask,
Was just holding it up for me such a difficult task.

I am tired so so tired that I can't explain,
Got no courage everything is slain.

Why do people leave you in a condition so harsh please tell,
Cause I am sick sick of it I want to be well.

I don't recognize anyone not that I did before,
If I could see through your fake self wouldn't take it far anymore.

They see me as a cheery girl, and take advantage of my kindness,
They never see the broken girl beneath out of blindness.

And I am not planning to let them in,
What if yet again my trust ends up in the bin.

Lets keep it real from now on,
Introduce yourself clarifying if later you'll be gone.

Cause I have been through enough damages my friend,
And I am finally planning to putting it to an end.

The old me is dead today,
Will try the cold facade had enough to pay.

I have nothing left to be called as wealthy,
No trust, no heart, no smile, unhealthy.

So don't stop me if I don't recognize you when I pass by,
There is a reason for my reaction you know exactly why.

Don't try to lift me up when I fall again,
A little more won't hurt when you have given me so much pain.

Don't try to touch my soul with a face full of remorse,
I have lost it in a situation much worse.
