This was it.

This was the day.

Their last day.

Their last final hours on Earth.

Many countries and Ancients had to keep back tears as they remembered what day it was.

The countries didn't want the Ancients to go.

The Ancients didn't want to go.

But they had too.

They had until midnight.

This was their last day.

And they were going to make the best of it.

Spain laid on Rome's couch sadly, today was the day.

He tried keeping back tears.

But it was hard.

His mother was leaving today.

He didn't want her to leave.

But he couldn't stop it no matter how much he wanted to.

"It's gonna be okay." A voice said to him. He looked to see his mother next to him.

"Please don't go."

"I don't want to, but I have too. I'm sorry."

Spain flinched a little at that line, it was so similar to what she said to him when she was fading when he was younger.

"Can we not talk about you leaving?" Portugal asked.

They nodded and Portugal sat next to them on the couch.

The three of them started to let a few tears slip.

"You two are going to be okay." Iberia said to her sons as she hugged them.

Gaul and France were in the rose garden, both of them were trying not to think of about her leaving.

Just like when France was younger, he found a red rose and gave to Gaul before taking a blue one and putting it in his hair.

"This isn't goodbye, it's just see you later." He said.

Gaul nodded as tears threatened to fall, she hugged her son tightly. He hugged back and didn't bother trying to keep the tears back.

Romania, Rome, and the Italies all were in the kitchen.

They were quiet, none of them knew what exactly to say.

They knew this day was coming.

But now that it was here, it felt so real.

But all of the younger nations were silently crying.

Rome just all of a sudden hugged them, "It's gonna be okay."

They just nodded.

Rome's other grandchildren came in a joined the hug.

It was 8:00am, they had 16 hours left.

And they were going to make the best of it.

America and Canada were getting things ready for the party that was happening in about 9 hours.

Both of them were trying not to cry, but it was hard.
