Before he learned how to control his WiFi, there was many cases of BEN having a group of Pastas following him around to leech off of the free internet.
In fact, this was half of the reason as to why le put so much effort into learning to control it. The other half was that he couldn't play hide and seek because all the Seeker had to do was pull out their phone and head in the direction of the increased WiFi bars.
