Ch. 7 • Stay

We all talked a bit and I got to know them.
It was about 7pm and we were in the tour bus.
"We don't have any extra bunks so you might have to share with someone" Harvey said
"It's okay, I don't want to be in the way. But thanks for offering me to stay with you." I said standing up
"No! You're not in the way" hunter said "you can have my bed, I'll sleep out here"
"It's really fine" I said
Zach stood in front of the bus door, "you're not staying out there, Aria" he said
"Okay.." I answered sitting back down
-time skip to 12:30am-
everyone was sleeping in their own bunks, and I was in hunters.
I couldn't sleep knowing that I was taking someone else's bed from them, it just felt weird.
I got out of the bunk and went to the couch area in the bus.
I sat down on the opposite side of the couch of where hunter was and I went on my phone.
Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder
I jumped and then realized it was only hunter
"Sorry" he laughed after realizing he scared me
"Why are you up?" He asked me
"I don't know, I just felt bad taking your bed" I smiled at him
He laughed
It was quiet for a minute
Hunter- can I ask you something?
I nodded my head yes
Hunter- why did you..
He was interrupted by a knock on the door of the bus
I got scared thinking that someone was looking for me. I ran into the bathroom and locked myself in there.
I covered my mouth so no one would hear me crying. I don't ever want to go back home.
I heard a knock on the door, "Aria?"
I didn't respond
"It was just Blake and Harvey." He said
I still didn't respond
•Hunter's POV•
Aria wasn't responding to me. I opened the door and turned on the lights.
I saw her sitting on the floor crying, with her face in her hands.
I kneeled down and put my hand on her knee
"Aria, look at me" I said
She looked up while wiping the tears off of her face.
"It was just Blake and Harvey.." I said to her
I stood up and help out my hand, gesturing for her to stand up.
•Aria's POV•
I felt stupid for running in here
I took hunters hand and stood up
He walked me back to his bunk and we sat down.
H- "so why did you run away from home? " he whispered since everyone was sleeping
I hesitated before I said anything
H- "you don't have to tell me"
A- "a couple days ago my parents, my brother and I got into a car accident and my mom and brother passed away..
And whenever it's just me and my dad alone, he.."
I didn't know how to tell him
H- "hits you?"
I nodded my head yes
H- "wow, I'm so sorry.."
Me and hunter talked for a while.
He picked up his phone and it read "1:43am"
H- "you should go to sleep"
He said pulling the covers over me.
He stood up but I stopped him
"Hunter?" I said
He stopped and turned around
"I.. don't want to be alone.." I said quietly
"Ill stay here with you until you fall asleep"
He said while laying down in the bunk with me
I felt safe here.
I started thinking about how tomorrow was going to be but I eventually drifted off to sleep.
