The Girl From Downtown was not brave nor tall
Her heart however would show much more
Outside her shell, she'd be just a girl
But inside she would fight more than hell

Her skin was warm, Her life was cold
Her heart was broken, Her face was not
Her eyes showed love, Her skull showed cracks
Her body thin, Her hair in plates
Her mind was blotchy, Her head was smooth
Her lips showed a smile, But her teeth showed a frown

Her fingers long, her nails short
Her smile gone, hair in knots
Her eyes now dark, Her face now scratched
Her head bruised, teeth cracked
Her body thinner, Her skull smashed
Her mind black, skin white
Her life gone, Her heart stopped
Her feelings were on, and now they're off

This was the girl from Downtown
Her bravery lacked, Her height down
Her shell was cracked, she said she was fine
Now hell took over, and here she lie
The silver circle, stuck in her brain
The only proof her life was sane
