Moon

I look out the window
The dark sky gleams
The dots of gold staring back at me

I shrug and sigh
The time isn't right
I've been sitting out here since midnight

The sight I've seen
Gives me chills
How could it sit so damn still

The ring is red
I wish I was in bed
Bad luck is shinning through the air

Why do I listen
Why do I watch
The witches say blues for good luck

But it isn't blue
As I have said
It's well and truly a deep red

Ruby red lips
A blossoms kiss
The Blood is pouring from its tips

One in the morning
The circle is big
I really hope it doesn't explode

I should be in bed
My parents want me on meds
But I wanted to see it

Now I'm worried
The howls are coming
The moon is the only thing frowning
