Exhaustion

Jungkook P.O.V.

Taehyung seemed very tired based off of how much he was leaning into me while I hugged him. I decided that he should not be alone, especially after figuring out he's not only an omega but he's also MY mate. I don't need any horny members of my pack trying to do anything. As smoothly as I can I carried him bridal style up the flight of stairs and down the hall to my bedroom. Glancing at him in my arms my suspicions of his exhaustion were confirmed when I saw he was fast asleep. I gently laid him in the bed, taking off his sweatpants and tee shirt that were freezing from spending the night in the woods. I carefully replaced his cold clothing with a pair of shorts and a shirt of mine. His body is so small my clothes hang off of him like he's a child. I gaze at him in awe as I really understood this beautiful creature was mine to love and protect. As I was gazing at him, I noticed that his collar bone was exposed and licked my lips wanting to kiss it and mark him.

'What are you doing Jungkook you just met him and you are getting turned on by his collarbone? He's asleep for goddess' sake' I mentally scolded myself.

I carefully adjust the blankets so they cover him and I slid in next to him, cuddling up to his side to keep him warm. Hoping that he would be okay with this.

Waking up a few hours later with warmth over my body, I clear the sleep from my eyes and notice that Taehyung is on top of me, laying on my torso like a little koala.

I gently stroke his back, succeeding in waking him.

"H-How did I get here?" He asks in confusion, looking around sleepily

"On top of me or in my bedroom?" I reply jokingly

He looks scared after he realizes the position that he is in and hurriedly moves off of me and stands a distance from the bed.

"I didn't mind you laying on me like that sweetie, I actually really enjoyed it. As for how you got here, you fell asleep in my arms and I brought you here to sleep. I didn't want the other pack members to get any ideas" I said trying to make him understand

"B-But my clothes? W-we didn't...." he trailed off eyes wide in horror

"No baby, I wouldn't do that without your consent. Your clothes were freezing after being in the forest so I put you in something better to wear to sleep" I said standing to calmingly smooth his hair

"Ah, I see.....then what are we going to do today?" He asked curiously

"Baby boy, we can do whatever you want to do" I say hugging him 

"Could you show me around? This is all new to me and I don't know anyone here" Taehyung asks nervously

"I have a meeting with the pack this morning, to explain what the commotion was and to announce that you are now a member of this pack. So while I do that how about you take a shower and find an outfit to wear today?" I said starting to walk to my closet

"But I don't have any clothing....I just have the clothes I came in" he said looking at his feet

"Taehyung, you can look through my clothes and pick some that you like, what's mine is now yours too. I want you to remember that"

'Jungkook we need to start the meeting now'  Namjoon mind linked me

"Alright Tae I have to go now. I'll see you in an hour" I say walking to my bedroom door

Glancing over my shoulder at him I made sure he goes to the closet before leaving him to his business.

 I know I just met him but I have already fallen in love.
