Unexpected

After telling our friends that Taehyung is pregnant I decide to link the rest of the pack to let them know

As I do, I get lots of happy squeals from the women and congratulations from the men... I guess they're all excited that they'll have another pup running around. Some ask me which gender I would prefer, and to be honest I think either will be perfectly fine. I mean I know having a boy will give me an heir to my position but the thought of having a little girl makes me unbelievably happy.

I can't stop grinning and I turn to Taehyung as we're eating lunch and I rest my hand on his tummy

He raises an eyebrow at my action but doesn't say anything,  just smiles

I look over to see Jin watching us carefully with narrowed eyes. Ahh Jinjja he's so protective over my Tae Tae. I love that he's so caring but he had to have known this would happen eventually right? Oh well, I guess we all have some adjusting to do. I mean I'm still a bit surprised myself at this whole situation. I knew it would be very possible for Taehyung to get pregnant but we used a condom..... I also know that they break sometimes. Even with everything we could've done to prevent him getting pregnant we didn't but we're content with the results

Plus I have no doubt in my mind that we'll be wonderful parents

"I agree baby" I hear Taehyung say through our link

"How long exactly were you listening in babe?" I ask curiously, turning towards him

"Long enough" he replied casually

After lunch was done and dishes were clean, Taehyung decided to take a nap while I did paperwork

I sometimes dislike being alpha because of all the paperwork that needs to be done. Like I have to approve of people adding onto their homes, and I need to give permission for members to leave to join their mates in other packs. Sometimes I just don't like dealing with it....But I know it's part of what I'm responsible for so I do it with a smile.

Suddenly I feel slight panic go through my bond with Taehyung. Not wasting any time I bolt up from my chair and race up to our room where I find Taehyung in the bathroom leaning over the toilet

"You okay baby?" I ask him as I rub his back

"Yeah, I'm fine I just feel nauseous ...but I think that's part of the whole pregnancy thing" He says staring at the wall

After I'm confident he won't throw up again, I help him up and he brushes his teeth

I bring him to the bed, laying him down and I lay down with him. I refuse to know my mate doesn't feel good and not be there for him

I snuggle up to Taehyung and stroke his belly

"Soon you'll be more noticeable here baby. I am so excited to be your dad and I know you're still really small but I'm already so excited to meet you" I say looking at his belly

I look up to see Taehyung smiling at me

"You're so cute when you do that" He comments, stroking my cheek

"I think talking to the baby will help him or her to know both of our voices and know who we are when they finally come into the world" I explain

He gently cups my cheek and brings his lips to mine

"You're going to be a wonderful father Jungkook, and I can't wait to raise this child with you" he says as tears come to his eyes

"Baby don't cry" I say, kissing the back of his hand

I get a message from Jin saying that the women in the pack banded together and bought nursery stuff for the baby

I'm only a little surprised at this, there hasn't been a new pup for quite a while so I'm sure the women feel the need to make sure everything is perfect for our baby's arrival.

As I tell Taehyung, he looks at me in shock when I tell him it's not much of a surprise that they did that

"Well it's a surprise to me, I honestly didn't think they would do that. I mean I know we're all pack mates but wow" He says in astonishment

After a while of sitting in our room cuddling we decide to walk around outside

We walk through the large yard with an occasional pack member come up to greet us. Most of the older children in the yard came up and gave Taehyung a flower. I honestly wish there were days like this all the time, they're just so relaxing.

A couple months go by just like that and Taehyung's belly is prominently round. I've heard mood swings can happen during pregnancy, but Taehyung hasn't experienced very many which I am happy about.

It's hard for me because he looks so damn hot carrying my pup, but today we will be able to find out the gender of the pup

I carefully go inside of our room and up to Taehyung's side of the bed. He was taking a nap for a while after we walked through the gardens again today.

"Babe, it's time to go see the pack doctor to find out the gender of our little one" I say gently

His eyes immediately open and he practically jumps out of bed

I can tell just by looking at him that he's extremely excited

Taehyung quickly combs through his hair and puts on a different top so the doctor has more access to his belly

He then decides he needs to brush his teeth, so for another maybe five minutes I wait for him to finish up before we head down to the pack doctor

Along the way we're stopped by women and some men to coo at Taehyung's belly. Saying how excited they are for us, and how they want to meet the little pup. Not for another few months though according to the doctor, it's a bit surprising though, I look at Taehyung and wonder how much bigger he's going to get. But I need to remember that it's a little being inside of his tummy so how much bigger Taehyung's tummy gets depends on the size of the child.

After explaining to everyone where exactly we were headed they finally let us pass and we make our way into the doctor's office

The doctor greets us happily and has Taehyung lay down on the examination table while he goes to get the ultrasound machine.

We only have to wait for a few minutes before the doctor comes back

"Taehyung will you please lift up your shirt?" he asks casually

I'm surprised Taehyung didn't rip his shirt with how quickly he jerked it up

"Now I'm going to put this gel on your tummy which will help us to see the baby, but it might be a bit cold" The doctor states

Taehyung nods his head in understanding and inhales deeply when the gel is put on his tummy

I hold onto Taehyung's hand trying to contain my excitement

I don't understand anything I see on the screen but I begin to get anxious when the doctor frowns and begins to move the little sensor thing around Tae's tummy

"What's wrong?" I ask with a bit of panic in my voice

The doctor turns and smiles at us

"Looks like you are having twins"
