Dear Mara,
I hope this letter finds you well. I think your last letter was delayed a few days; I kept checking in the mail but nothing was there until this morning. I'm writing you straight away in case your mail is delayed as well.
I'm very good, the weather here has been a little warm but it's almost summer so that is to be expected. I'm almost done writing my book, so I can show it to you when we meet in San Francisco on the fourth. I'm sure you'll love it; I borrowed your description of the sea in parts but I will accredit them to you. I'm not packing much, since we won't need anything. I'll be wearing a floral dress with a black hat, so if you see me in the airport just holler. Otherwise, I'll wait at the gates for you.
There are a lot of other things I want to tell you, but I'll wait until we meet so we have plenty of things to talk about. Will anyone be coming with you or will it just be you?
A reminder because I almost forgot: make sure you set everything up for when you are gone.
See you in San Francisco.
Love from your friend and pen pal,
Missy Xandia
