The trio of dragonets danced around their mother's claws, playing and tackling one another. Tamarin smiled weakly, of course she couldn't see them, but she didn't care. "MOMMY!!!!" Screeched citrine, her scales a glimmer of gold, but now cherry red.
"Yes dear?" Said tamarin calmly, smiling as her dragonets scrambled into her talons. Citrine frowned "where's daddy?"
That question struck her. . .
Flame, the SkyWing she fell in love with, was serving time in prison for attempted murder.
Of course, she never told him that they were parents. Tamarin visited him every month, it was a long trip, but living in the rainforest meant that orchid and mangrove could watch her beautiful children.

I'm sorry I never told you ....
But now I'll get you out my love...
