I was arrested. But then I was saved by Eduardo.

"I can see very well with my other eye." Eduardo said

(Eduardo took off his eyepatch. Can he see with both eyes?)

"Let's get outta here while the flashbag is working" he said

"Ah, yes!"

A coach rushed into the plaza

"Eduardo, this way!" Russel shouted from the coach

"Come, hop on!" Fuzzy shouted as well

"Yes!" I answered and we quickly got off the horse and rode on the coach wirh everyone.

His eyes... the left one where Eduardo's hazel eye is, and the right one, that was under his eye patch all the time, has a reddish color...

We successfully escaped from the soldiers and Eduardo took me to a hill with a magnificent view.

"I remember... I used to look at the sea from this hill." Eduardo still haven't put back his eyepatch yet.

"I'm half Moldor and half Ullr." Eduardo said

(That's why...he's got different colored eyes...)

"My father was a public officer of Moldor and married my Mother's who's an Ullr. I'm ashamed of my Father's blood." Eduardo said and he looked away

I was just staring at his profile

"Before I was born, when Moldor invaded Ullr... they not only stole the land from Ullr, but... half of the Ullr was massacred."

Half of the Ullr...!?

"Men were used as forced labor and women and children became slaves. That bastard Moldor stole everything from the Ullr people." Eduardo looks angry

(Eduardo is torn apart between Moldor and Ullr...)

"Is that why you're hiding your eye that has the same color as your father...?" I asked

"...Right" he answered and I just squeezed his hand

"It's your heart... that has a scar" I said

He just stayed silent.

"All my father could think about was his promotion, not us. He was on the ship all the time, and never came home..." His voice is slightly trembling...

"My mother was discriminated against all he time. She must've had a really tough time."

"You had a hard time too, didn't you?" I asked him

"Yeah... I was always talked about behind my back about my mixed blood. I wasn't accepted by either Moldor or Ullr. My father was ignorant about my mother and me when we needed him." He looked so sad when he's talking about it

(Eduardo had been waiting for his father...)

"You wanted your father by your side, for him to protect you, right?" I looked at him

"...You may be right" Eduardo squeezed my hand back

"You seem t' understand how I feel"

"Sure..." I answered weakly

"...You had the same experience I had." he looked at me, and then looked the other way

"But I'm not like you, I can never forgive my father... I swore on my mother's death, I'll become a pirate and ruin his career." Eduardo said
