It's Too Hard...

Time for a little peace...

It only took me a few minutes to change then we joined Kaiba and the passed out Joey in the living room. "Why did you two run off together AND got changed with each other?" Kaiba asked and Yugi's face went bright red. I don't blame him...but he is the one who dragged me. I stepped in and hid Yugi behind me.

"That doesn't matter, what matter here is the passed out Joey on our couch. What happened to him?" I ask and look back at Yugi to see him mouth 'thanks' because I stepped in. Kaiba sighed at us and looked over at Joey, he face sadden by the minute.

"I think only three words need to be said to understand what happened. A shadow game,"he said and all of our faces dropped. The only question...did Joey win? Judging by the way he is now, makes me pray that he did win. "I only cought the end of the duel. Joey and the guy's life points hit Zero at the same time so none of there souls were taken. I found him passed out on the streets and he was holding his Red Eyes Black. Dragon."

"So if we tie in a duel...no one loses their souls, that gives me an idea but we need to search for a specific card!" I yelled and started to look around. I think Yugi knew what the card I was looking for, but he had fear hiding in his eyes. "Hey don't worry Aibou, I'm not going to do anything stupid." I ruffled his hair and he started to blush.

"Hey! You two want to stop flirting and fill me in so I can get something done!" Kaiba yelled and stepped into the middle of me and Yugi. "Flirt in your own time! Not when peoples lives are at stake!"he continued and Yugi pouted at him.

"Sorry Kaiba, the card I am looking for is the card of destruction. It destroys one monster on the filed and both opponents take damage to the attack points," I said and Kaiba nodded and he started to look as well. Yugi got round to searching as well and we had no luck. "Where the hell is that card!"

"Calm down Yami, that card has to be somewhere. Grandpa had most of the cards so he must have that card somewhere," Yugi said and tapped my shoulder. He is trying to calm me down, but he wasn't helping me for some reason. We decided to take a break but I had to step outside. I stood a fair distance away from the others but I could just barley hear them, just so then Kaiba didn't try anything.

"So short stuff, what's going on been going on between you two because it is obvious,"he said and I although I couldn't see Yugi's face, I could tell he was going bright red. I don't think Yugi will say anything about us, knowing him he'll probably change the subject.

'I know your listening Yami...stop it please...' I heard for the first time. How the hell does he know how to mind link with me!?! He has never done it before, it always was me doing it. I manged to glance over at Yugi but he was giving me death glare, which sent shivers down my spin. I have never seen him so menacing...

"My relationship with Yami is...well what about you and Joey ehh? A question for a question," he smirked and Kaiba stood up, with his face going red! Well well, even the great Kaiba Seito can get embarrassed and it was for Joey. He walked away and Yugi was left to laugh at himself.

I took the chance to step in again and Yugi looked over at me. "I take it you heard everything just then?"he asked and looked back away from me. He can't even look at me anymore. Was it from what I did earlier? Or was it from what Kaiba asked? "Ummm how much...exactly did you hear...?"

"Well sorry to say Yugi...but I heard everything. But I have the answer to your question but don't tell anyone," I said and got closer to him. He was sitting down so he sunk into the couch. Knelling down I put an arm on the couch just above his head. I leaned down and he closed his eyes not looking at me. It's kind of cute seeing him like this... "Joey and Kaiba are living together," I whispered.

His eyes shot open and his face was matching the colour of cherry's. "O-oh right c-cool. I-I guess that's c-cool," he mumbled and I couldn't help but laugh. Kaiba walked in and saw the way we were and he marched over to me. "U-Ummm hi Kaiba...what's...hanging?" Yugi mumbled and that only fuelled Kaiba even more.

"What the hell is going on here!!" Kaiba yelled and went to grab me but he got hit by something. We looked down to what hit him and it was a shoe. Looking around we couldn't see where that came from, there were no sign of anyone one.

"Kaiba your cool and all, but keep your voice down please. And they're fine the way they are so just leave them,"someone said and to our surprise, Joey sat up. Kaiba ran over to him and Yugi sat up and peeked over the couch to see his best friend alright. "Hey guys what's for dinner. Oh and great moves Yami,"he winked

Yugi hit my chest and when I looked down he was pouting at me. Kaiba was too busy asking all sorts of questions to Joey to even notice what we were doing. "What does he mean by good moves?" he asked.

'I have something to tell you later Joey' I said to Joey through thought and he nodded at me. "Don't worry Aibou he is just messing around," I said and flicked his nose. Moving from him and over to Joey he followed and sat next to him, hugging the life out of him.

"Woah look who has the spring back in his step! Let me breathe a bit Yuge," Joey laugh and put Yugi in a head lock. I went to the kitchen to make something for everyone and decided the best thing for a big group would be pizza. After all my time watching from the puzzle I knew what everyone liked so making it was easy. While waiting for it to cook I glanced out and saw everyone joking around. Kaiba was trying to get Yugi off of Joey and Joey was keeping a tight hold on Yugi.

It's nice to see everyone having a good time, but with everything going on my mind can't seem to settle. Footsteps came into the kitchen and I didn't have time to look to see who it was before they wrapped their arms around me. "Hey we're gonna be ok, right?" he asked and I knew it was Yugi.

"Yeah, I'll make sure of that." I said and returned his hug. This is the calm before the storm, we need to enjoy this. We looked over at Joey and Kaiba hugging on the couch and I couldn't help but smile at them.

Yeah!! Another upload! I have been on a big roll with this but I do need to update my other stuff... But Hey I think it's funny you guys must of thought I was going to make them kiss again!! Oho no friends that is for later!!
