I was drawing and listening to songs when this one popped up and I thought of me and my best friend, the only one I trust, the only one I love, and I would love to show or sing the song to her, so that she truly knows how much she means to me. But enough of my sappy stuff you came here for the one-shot so here it is.

Cory's Pov

I looked over at my best friend, the only one I love, the only one I trust, Shelby.  She's so cute, I want her to know how much I love and care about her.  Luckily I practiced a song to sing to her, I was just waiting for the perfect moment to sing it to her.  I tapped Shelby's shoulder "S-Shelby?" I managed to blurt out.  "Yes Cory?" She questioned and turned around to face me.  "U-uh um I uh I was just uh heh um i was just, w-wondering if i... if I could maybe uh sing a s-song for you?" I sputtered out. oh god I've never stuttered like that before, oh no she's gonna think I'm weird, she's not going to like me anymore! "Sure thing Cory!" She said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "o-ok" I said, here it goes.  I inhaled and started singing.

I finished singing, and looked at Shelby who was, crying?  She ran up and hugged me.  "I love you Cory, please don't leave me" she chocked out.  I hugged her back, letting her sob into my shoulder.  "I love you too Shelby, and I promise I'll never leave you"
