Third person Pov
Ashlie dangled her legs off the side of the cliff. She swung her legs back and fourth as she gazed at the starts above her. She pulled a nearby flower out of the ground and silently threw it off the cliff. Watching as if drifted downwards, she laid down on the ground. Still gazing at the stars, Ashlie plucked blades of grass from the earth and ran them through her fingers. She gazed longingly at the stars, wishing she could be up there with them.
Nick slowly stepped forward until he was standing next to Ashlie. He layed down next to her and looked up at the stars. Ashlie turned on her side to instead gaze at Nick. Nick glanced over at her and smiled slightly. Crickets chirped around them as they lay there on the cliff. Ashlie took Nick's hand in her own and watched the stars. She couldn't help but smile as she stared at the stars with Nick beside her.
The stars started to fade as the wind whistled as the sun started to rise. Ashlie sat up quickly with her legs dangling off the cliff and stared at the sunrise in astonishment. Nick sat up slowly. Ashlie rested her head on Nick's shoulder as the watched the sunrise together.
