The Insane Ghost (Young Justice x Danny Phantom crossover)

First Meetings

-Happy Harbor, Mt. Justice-

April 16th

*Danny's POV*

I look into Conner's eyes, he's aching for a chance to get out of the cave. Restlessness and mischief swirl around I his gaze, it reminds me of someone. I smile slightly and nod.

"Sure, lets get out of here." I say. He smirks,

"Then lets go." Conner grabs onto my arm, which I'm noticing he does quite alot. We pass the mission room on the way and hear conversation between the team and Batman, but ignore it as he leads us quickly back to the hangar.

*Third Person POV (Superboy)*

Danny stumbles behind him as they enter the hangar. Wolf is back in place beside Sphere and growls as soon as Danny's presence is noticed beside him,

"Wolf this is Danny, he is our friend, so stop growling." Conner says with eyes narrowed. Wolf looks down at the reprimanding tone in his voice whining like a kicked puppy,

"It's ok boy, I just don't want you to hate him before you even met him." He says coming closer to the white animal and bending down to look Wolf in the eyes as he rest his hand on his head. Danny stands cautiously behind and Conner looks back at the blue and green eyes silently telling him to come closer. Danny obeys kneels down beside the animal slowly rasig his hand to place it on top of Conner's. Wolf stands still looking into his eyes Conner sees fear. Fear of Danny, but why?

*Danny's POV*

The wolf is terrified of me. Living animals aren't as keen to ask for a game of fetch like Cujo. Standing up as Conner does he looks down sadly,

"Wolf go to my room, we'll be out for a while. Find something to eat, and today, you can sleep on my bed." Perking up at the last part of the sentence Wolf, I presume his name is bounds off to the doors and leaves,

"Sorry about him, he's usually not this growly." Conner apologizes. I shake my head at him,

"No, no, no, its fine animals just don't like me, they can sense that I'm different." I say truthfully. He nods accepting my answer turning around and walking a few paces he point at a metal ball on the ground,

"This is Sphere." He says, and well, he's not wrong, not one for names I assume. Wait, didn't he say we would sneak out on Sphere? How will that take us anywhere? My questions are answered when the ball suddenly morphs into the motorcycle from earlier that we were kissing on,

"Sphere this is Danny, Danny Sphere." He says and the vehicle makes a trill in response,

"Hello." I say blushing. The thing we were making out on was a sentient being. I'm mortified. Conner hops onto the bike and it starts hovering,

"Get on." He says smiling and I get on wrapping my arms around his waist. Before I could turn even redder at the contact we were off.
