Alrighty then, 'troopers! This is the point in the issue where we announce the winner of last month's contest!
As I'm sure you remember, last month was all about SteamPunk and the contest was no different. Using exactly 500 words, submitted entries must tell of the escapades of a SteamPunk spy!
Now, we had a fair few 'troopers give it a crack which was rather nice to see, although it did make judging pretty bloody difficult! We got there eventually though, so it's all good!

The tale itself is a superb wee short, filled with clever dialogue, intrigue, superbly crafted characters – especially given the enforced word limit – and of course, a whole damn lot of SteamPunk type goodness! Miss Auber is someone that I – and you, if you've got any sense – would most definitely love to see in future adventures!
