"Mom I can't believe you embarrassed me like that."

Leia was on the phone with her mom as she walked into school, the day after Grayson came over.

"So, are you going to that party tomorrow?" She asked.

Leia gaped and almost stopped walking altogether. "So you eavesdropped too? What, was embarrassing me not enough?"

Her mother ignored her and asked again. "Are you going?"

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I'm going to the stupid party. Look I have to go. Bye, love you."

She hung up and almost shrieked when she saw Elaine standing in front of her.

"My party is not going to be stupid. And you aren't even invited."

"Grayson invited me."

"Oh hun," She said mockingly. "Haven't I already told you? He doesn't like you, and he never will. If you even think about showing up to my party I will make sure it's the last one you ever show up to." Elaine directed a menacing glare at Leia, and left.

The rest of the school day Leia was frightened. She wouldn't admit it, but she was scared of Elaine's not-so-empty threat. She knew something terrible would happen to her at the party. She had seen Elaine 'prank' other people before for going against her wishes, and it was not a pretty sight.

Leia tried to avoid Elaine as much as she could. She had a couple of classes with her, but made sure to sit on the opposite side of the room. During lunch she ate inside, and felt Elaine's stare the entire time.

In her last class of the day, which was history, Leia was impatiently waiting for the bell to ring. Grayson was beside her, rambling about stuff she wasn't paying attention to. That is, until he mentioned superheroes.

"Have you seen this article?" He whispered, shoving his phone in her face. "I told you they were real!"

Shy Superhero Spotted!

The other day something no one has seen before happened. A girl appeared out of nowhere and put out a fire caused by a car crash, by making it rain. Bystanders said it was like nothing they'd every seen before. One commented, "I watched her grow a flower, in her hand! She gave it to the little boy that she saved and ran off."

We were also able to get a comment from the child's mother. "I'm just happy by baby is okay. I really wish I could thank whoever this was. They saved my baby's life. It really makes me feel safe knowing that there's someone who can help when the police and firemen can't get places in time."

Our mysterious superhero ran off before anyone could get a good look at her, but the little boy has confirmed it looked like our hero is a female. Will we see her again or is she too shy to make another appearance?

Leia put on a shaky smile and looked back at Grayson. "I don't think you should get your hopes up. She probably won't appear again."

"And how would you know?" He asked. He cocked an eyebrow and withdrew his phone from in front of her.

"I-I don't I just think that if you don't stop being curious you could get hurt."
