Grayson was going crazy. Leia hadn't texted him back in a few hours and the last he had heard, she was only doing one more job. What if something happened? He frantically wrote another message, but still no reply came.

An hour later and they still had no reply. This was unlike Leia. She didn't want people worrying about her. Something was seriously wrong.
A few hours earlier...
Leia sent the text to Grayson and slipped her phone back in her pocket. She was going to try and catch what looked like a few gang members, then be done for the night. She wanted to go home and eat ice cream with Grayson.
Peering into the alley, Leia saw two guys. Okay, she thought. Two isn't so bad. She stepped into view, and immediately the attention was on her.
"Look, Jer! It's the princess we've been waiting for!" One exclaimed loudly. 'Jer' snorted, rolling up his sleeves.
"Took her long enough."
"She even has a new costume!"
Leia cocked an eyebrow, clearly confused. Why had they been waiting for her?
The loud one rubbed his hands together, saying something along the lines of "This is going to be fun" before he disappeared.
Leia gaped and looked around. What the heck? There were other people with powers?
"Don't look so surprised princess. Shoulda known there'd be more." Someone said behind her. Disappearing guy had appeared behind her.
He grabbed her wrists and pulled them together but Leia heated her arms to burn him. He yelped and vanished, appearing by the other guys side.
The sound of electricity cackled in the air and he shot his hand out, a bolt of electricity hitting Leia. She wasn't sure what to do. She had never encountered another gifted person like herself. It was an odd feeling and now she knew how to ordinary criminals felt when going up against her.
Pain surged through her chest, and she staggered before falling to the ground in pain. They tried to get closer but she created a ring of fire around her.
She almost smacked herself when she remembered the obnoxious one could teleport.
He appeared next to her and swiftly cuffed her hands behind her back. Leia tried melting them, but for some reason it wasn't working. Nothing was working.
Teleporting guy grabbed Leia and the other guy, transporting them to what looked like a warehouse.
Why do bad guys love warehouses so much?
They dragged Leia to a support beam, and pushed her to the ground. 'Jer' grabbed a nearby rope and wound it around her, binding her to the beam. Next, he tied together her ankles, just in case.
