How Are You? 'Fine'

My Mistake..

There I sit and there I'll stay,
Until you listen to what I say.

Then I'll follow you wherever you go.
Only, of course, until you say so..

You can leave, I'll still be here.
Those smiles we shared turn into tears.
I was loyal and all about you.

I just didn't see you weren't like me too..

You seemed to care so I started to share and all my hopes were shattered right there as you picked up my pieces to give to others while I stayed with a gaping hole in my chest and I can't help but feel as if I were temporary smile while I thought you were my shoulder and would stay for a while. But oh silly me for getting too attached. It's people like you who don't see what they have and when they're reminded they still don't give a crap they just take what they want and leave me with nothing while my eyes like faucets just keep running until I can't cry anymore and I'm left there on the floor with no words to be said or friend to hold I'll just wait for my next mistake to find me to mold.

Here they come to mend what few pieces I have,
We have a smile and share a laugh.

I accept their kindest and become their friend,
While the whole cycle begins again.

I'm back on the floor for goodness sake!!

And here I wait for my next mistake..
