Demi's POV:

Lately, I've been in the studio more working on my fourth album. I've also been doing a lot more with XFactor. It has been two months since Maddie was at the hospital, and to be honest I think there's more to the reason she passed out. I got out of my car and headed inside my parent's house. Yes, I still live with my parents.

"I'm home!" I shouted.

"How was work, sweetie?" Mom asked, giving me a hug.

"Good, got a lot done today!" I said.

"That's good," Dad said hugging me.

"Where's Maddie?" I asked.

"She is at Ariel practice right now. Come sit. We need to talk." mom said with a serious tone.

I sat down nervously waiting for one of them to start talking.

"Okay, so we wanted to talk to you about Maddie." Mom said.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"Well, lately we've noticed that she's been more like you were before rehab." Mom said. "She never eats unless you're around either," Dad added

"Don't worry I'll talk to her and see what's going on," I replied reassuringly.

I went into my room and sat on my bed thinking about Maddie. Was the park thing a cover up? Did Maddie actually get beat up? Does she have an eating disorder? Does she cut?

All of those thoughts were interrupted by mom yelling up to me.

"I'm going to pick Maddie up now!" She called.

"Okay," I shouted back. After dinner, I was going to talk to Maddie whether she wants to or not. I yawned since I was exhausted and decided to take a nap before dinner.

I woke up to Maddie trying to wake me up.

"Dinner time." She said in a monotone voice and then walked out. I got up and headed downstairs. Dad said grace, and then we ate. After we were done, Maddie bolted upstairs.

"I'm gonna go talk to her now," I told the rest of the family.

"Okay, good luck!" Mom replied.

I went upstairs and lightly knocked on Maddie's door.

"Maddie, open up," I said. Nothing, that's just great. I tried to open the door and it was thankfully, unlocked. Maddie was just leaving her bathroom when I walked in.

"Hey, baby girl!" I said, trying to start off easy.

"Hi. Need something?" She asked, more bitchy than I think she intended.

"Can we talk?" I said sitting on her bed.

"Sure. What do you want to talk about?" She asked. "Look. Mom and dad have been telling me what's been going on." I said

"What are you talking about?" She asked, sounding shocked and in denial at the same time.

"Maddie stop playing dumb. I know about how you rarely eat. Look at you! You're so skinny, like scary skinny!" I said worriedly.

"No." She mumbled.

"Maddie don't think I didn't know what you were doing. You were purging up your dinner." I said. I could tell she was going to break any minute now. "Maddie you know you can tell me," I said soothingly. Right then, tears started streaming down her face. I lifted up her light body and placed her on my lap, and lightly stroked her hair.

"Baby girl it's gonna be okay I'm going to help you through this, I promise," I said. After an hour, she finally calmed down.

"How about we get some rest and then in the morning we will talk more about this," I said knowing she wasn't ready to tell me why she was doing this. We both got changed and went to my bed. I wrapped my arms around her waiting for her to fall asleep, and then I fell asleep myself.
