For years and years they haunt me
For years and years they're there
For years and years they follow
And with that comes a scare
They're lurking in the shadows
They're lurking in my mind
They're lurking in my memories
So that I can no longer find
My hopes my heart my dreams
My thoughts my fears my scar
My words and my mind
They're lurking far and far
In moments they will vanish
In moments they reappear
In moments they are gone
In moments they show my fears
For years and years they're sly
They're lurking in my thoughts
My hopes and fear plus sorrow
Then in moments... I will rot.
