Crows

He takes my hand
He flows with me
The quarter in my mouth
I place it in his to play the fee

Reluctantly he takes it
In my mind he has no eyes,
No soul no life,
Nor death can fill his empty lies

He's just a thing with no feelings
Paddling, the rivers spark
They start to grab my feet and hands
Oh hey wait, is that a bark?

Three heads, three barks,
Equals six eyes, six ears
All we need is another six
To bring up many fears

The burning flames have no heat
As the remaining ashes are flesh and bone
The remains leave a stench
A scene I couldn't leave even if I had known

The man a man, he walks in front of me,
Wait, no man he is but something much more
His deathly stare and deathly glare
It hits me to the core,

His hand drags me down
His eyes are a crimson red
His features are so prominent
He opens his mouth and said,

"A man no man you are
A group of crows shrouded you
That is why you are here
If you seek a lie, then no it is true,"

His words ring inside my head
'A group of crows? No...'
Giving in I cry,
He tries to console me, but how could he know?

As his cold touch pierces me
Pain strikes me like a knife
But no it's a 55 caliber bullet
That was the one that ended life

The next words he had said
Had engraved cold fear within me
He had spoken how the crows got to me
How they got the key

"You would've went above
Had you wanted a life
But yet you chose this path
Going through you, a bullet or a knife,"

I cry and cry
My tears are as clear as day
I beg and beg
Plus asked what I should do to pay

I didn't want this life,
I just wanted to go by
I wanted them to understand
That I wasn't just an annoying fly

"I'm here for you,"
He tries to console me
But really he wants my soul
Not my entire being

"I don't care, let me free,"
I beg to my knees,
But his hands are still cold
The pain is still there as a tease

My tears still sting as the raven flies past
The raven hovers over the man who isn't a man
And goes away as it burns to flames
The man who is not a man, still stands

The letter wasn't well,
It was terrifying
But yet he still stands
And still hasn't been seen crying

Yet a tear falls down
He looks at me
"I regret my words that's passed
But please favor what's left to see,"

I hadn't understood what he should've said
What he couldn't have said
But when I looked back up,
I saw a sad crimson red

I gave a questioning look
But little did I know
It also had a somewhat similar
Cold look of snow

He still stared
He couldn't help but cry
When I had asked
He hadn't told me why

He sends me off and decides to never
To never ever tell me
So when I had awakened,
His answer would never be

I see the bright light,
I am in pain,
I see the white little note
I thought I'd never gain

I open to see
See a beautiful moonlight
No, no moonlight it is,
But a glistening words of write

"A loving poem
Should this be
I've long to see you
If you hadn't noticed me,"

I realize the dead shouldn't be alive
And yet he had to let me go
I realize that I shouldn't be alive
That finally I should go back and say hello,

I tear my heart and go back down
I longed for an answer he hadn't told me
He sees me in for a shock
As I leave the letter beside of me

I finally got my answer
As it was only us two
He had held me close
And whispered in my ear...

"I love you"
