growing up, one of my favorite hobbies was reading. i loved how books helped me escape my reality, even if it was only for a while. i once heard my father say that music and books are for those who can't be alone with their thoughts, and it has been proved correctly in my life.

one of my favorite things about reading was getting to know the characters. from the first to the last chapter, see how it has changed, matured, evolved.

once i finished the last chapter of every book, i went to the beginning again, looking how clueless they were.

i found it funny, how a minute you could be happy and free without knowing that the next minute something terrible could happen.
how something could change your entire life in matter of seconds, leaving you wondering how could you be so naive.

funny how, since you were born, that moment was destined to happen.

and that's how we really are all the time. we don't know what to expect from the future. maybe right now your life is nearly perfect but it can change really quickly.

to think i was clueless the moment i snapped that picture.
