// Draco //

I woke up with a permanent smile on my face. Today was the day. The day that it was all going to be over. The day that Hermione would once again be mine. She said I could explain everything to her and I intend to do that very thing.

Hermione wasn't next to me, I guess she was already up, she was always the first one to get up. I put my clothes on and walked down the stairs, "Hermione!" I called, the smile still stuck on my face.

She didn't respond. I looked in the kitchen and saw she wasn't there. I looked in the living room and saw the daily prophet on the ground with a rip in it and coffee on it. Next to it, on the ground, was a broken coffee cup. I frowned and opened the prophet.

Hello My wondrous readers!

Reeta Skeeter here to confirm rumors about the Malfoys and their mysterious situation!

After hearing the Potters' conversation I decided to look around Australia just in case Hermione Granger or anyone who is involved in her particular situation was there. I visited a club just because last time I uncovered the story it was in a bar.

I spotted Hermione Granger seated at the bar smirking at the bartender. I decided to step up to the bar and listen in on their conversation. The bartender got quite cozy with Miss. Hermione Granger quickly.

"Hello, beautiful. Anything I can get you? I mean, other than a boyfriend?" The bartender asked. Hermione smiled at him, was the Hermione Granger flirting with the bartender? "Whiskey." The bartender grinned at the girl, "I like a strong Woman."

As much as it pained me to see it, I saw a glint in her eye that could only mean one thing. Hermione Granger was hitting on other men. You've heard it here folks, Hermione Granger has moved on from Draco Malfoy.

The bartender gave her her drink and said, "I never caught your name." She smirked at him playfully, our Hermione Granger is cunning indeed, its amazing she wasn't in Slytherin. "Its a hard name to catch." She responded. So you're one of those girls, huh? Hard to get?"

Hermione Granger chuckled but then her face paled and she began to look anxious. She regained her composure and smirked at the bartender, "How much for the drink?" She asked.

"I don't charge pretty women, especially if they give me their number." The bartender replied. Hermione Granger winked at him and subtly, yet hurriedly made her way to the back exit of the club when I saw who was close of her tail, I immediately followed.

"Why are you here?" Hermione Granger growled at a certain blonde who was standing conveniently in front of the only back exit. "Nice to see you too, Honey." He said, dryly.

"I told you not to follow me." Granger glared at him. It was clear that she was still very upset with Draco Malfoy. Draco just shrugged, "I didn't listen."

The humor was violent between the two, "Sounds familiar." She spat. "Hermione let me explain." Draco Malfoy gripped her arm and begged her. This is a very uncharacteristic move for Mr. Malfoy.

"If this is why you came here you should just go home now." Hermione said and pulled her arms out of his grasp and ran out of the club. She was walking towards some house, Draco close on her heels.

Draco wasn't far behind. "Hermione!" He called. "Go home Draco!" Hermione called over her shoulder, unlocking the gate and shutting it behind her, running into the house.

Draco Malfoy put him head on the door, looking depressed. I don't blame him, he cheated on his wife and he was sorry. But Hermione Granger was being a strong woman and putting up a very strong wall so that Draco Malfoy could not break her heart again.

Until next time,

- Reeta Skeeter

I rolled my eyes as I read the article, over half of it wasn't true, but then again, that's usually how it goes with Skeeter.

I sighed, "Hermione!?" I called louder. Nothing. I looked down back at the prophet and broken cup and tried to figure out what happened.

Maybe she got really upset about the whole story that Rita made up and she threw the cup out of anger and then she went out of the house to cool off or something.

I nodded, yeah. That's what happened, I convinced myself. Hermione wouldn't do anything dumb.

I decided to stay in the kitchen and wait while I waited for her to come back, If she wasn't back in an hour then I'll owl her or go look for her.

I sighed and sat on the stool, a nagging feeling in my gut, but I pushed it aside.
