Prologue
Adrianna Weston stepped onto the platform nine and three quarters ahead of her parents. Standing before the scarlet steam engine, she huffed and turned to them one last time before she set off for school.
"Bye Amelia. Alphard." she said with a smirk. Her father gave a curt nod in acknowledgment while her mother simply walked off, ignoring her daughter completely. Adrianna shrugged and climbed onto the train with her heavy luggage. Without looking back, she headed off to find an empty compartment. As she sat down in the last compartment on the left, a group of girls gave her odd looks. She sent a smirk their way and slammed the door shut behind her.
