Why Did You Run

Chapter 11
Finns pov:
I watched as my ex girlfriend got engaged right in front of me and everyone clapped . I felt sick to my stomach as I looked at Rachel hugging that Ken doll .

"Congratulations Rachel." I said

"Oh thanks Finn." She said surprised

"You must be Rody , yeah I'm Rachel's ex fiancé ." I said to him

"Actually it's Brody , and I know exactly who you are ." He said .

There was a bit of tension but then I smiled and shook his hand .

"Yeah you know I never thought Rachel would go for someone like you ." I said

"Finn," Rachel said nervous

"Oh really and whys that?" He asked me

"Well the Rachel I knew wasnt really into that whole Ken Barbie type of guy but I guess people change ." I said

"Yeah well at least I'm not the type who leaves their fiancé at the alter ." He rebuddled .

"Enough!" Quinn said and pulled me into the hall way .

"What the hell Quinn!" I yelled

"Get it together Hudson ! This is Rachel's day so stop being an ass and be nice ." She said and went back in the room leaving me outside . I kicked the locker and went to the auditorium.

Rachel's pov:
"Brody I'm so sorry , I'll be right back." I said and left .

I got into hallway but Finn wasn't there so I went the place where I knew he be, the auditorium.  I got to the auditorium and saw him sitting there .

"Hey! What the hell was that?" I asked him upset .

"What." He said

"That whole Ken Barbie thing you just pulled with Brody?" I asked him upset .

"Oh please Rachel , he's not for you . He's a muscle head are you really into that?" Finn asked me

"He's my boyfriend Finn and I love him . " I said offended .

"Oh please you love him or you just wanna make me jealous?" He asked me

"Are you out of your mind ! You left me at the alter Finn! You left Me ! So why on earth would I try to make you jealous after 7 years of not being with you ?" I asked him .

"Why don't you tell me." He said .

Suddenly I just felt a burning rage in my chest and out of no where I bitch slapped Finn Hudson . He held his cheek and looked at me .

"Finn...I'm .... so sorry." I said .

"It's fine I deserved it ." He said .

"No you didn't . " I said .

"Do you really love him Rachel ?" He asked me .

"I do Finn , I moved on ." I said .

"I see ." He said

He was about to leave when I said ,

"Why did you run? That day at the alter ? Why did you just leave ?" I asked  him .

He looked down and said ,

"I gotta go." And left .
