Hermione inwardly groaned as her Aunt listed off everything they would be doing that day.

"At 10:00 we will go down to the spa for our reserved mani petites, 11:00 we eat and early lunch at The Weaver, 12:00 we head down to the beach, 4:00 we can all go to our room to prepare for the ball...".

Who needs four hours to get ready for a ball???

"But that's not nearly enough time, Mother!" Ashley exclaimed.

"Hmm, your quite right dear, we'll head back to the hotel at 3:00. That will give everyone enough time to get ready." Hermione's Aunt said.

I guess everyone needs at least four hours to get ready for a ball.

"Meet in the lobby at 9:45!" Hermione's Aunt barked, and with that, Hermione stood up and left.
----------------------------------------------

As soon as Hermione made it to the bed, she plopped down and heaved a sigh. Breakfast had  been exhausting, and she had to will herself to get through it.

Draco had left to finish up a few things for work nearby, so Hermione and Scorpius had been left alone once more. He promised he would be back by the time the ball started.

Hermione checked her watch; 9:40. She groaned and slowly got out of the bed, making sure Scorpius was comfortable in his carrier before leaving the safe confinement of her suite.

----------------------------------------------

Ashley sighed to herself.

This is the life.

She was tanning on the beach after eating lunch and having her mani pedi done. She was too relaxed to bully Hermione at the spa, and Hermione didn't show up at lunch.

Oh well, I can poke some fun at her when she shows up in her bathing suit. No doubt she would look wretched in it.

Ashley was a wearing a very small, very tight bikini in a shade of bright pink, with cheetah print sunglasses resting over her eyes.

"Hermione's just arrived!" Aunt Monica said, looking up from her phone. "She's left Scorpius at the hotel with a friend."

Ashley just rolled her eyes.

"Mum, Dad, Ashley." Hermione greeted, nodding her head at each of them.

"Beaver," Ashley mumbled under her breath. Ashley glanced at Hermione.

She was wearing a white cover up, hiding everything from view. Ashley smirked. That's smirk faded away as Hermione started pulling off her cover up, though.

Hermione was wearing a black double strap bikini that showed ample cleavage, but not enough to be inappropriate. The bikini hugged her curves, and showed of her hour glass figure and long legs. Hermione put her cover up in her bag and grabbed her towel, walking more towards the center of the beach before lying down to tan.

Ashley watched as all the men stared at her cousin in awe, some were even openly checking Hermione out. Hermione was oblivious, as always, to the attention every male at the beach was giving her.

After 15 minutes of Ashley trying to ignore her cousin, Hermione decided let her long, chocolate brown hair down from the messy bun she had had it in, and she stood up, stretching, before walking over to her parents.

Ashley had had enough. She stood up and walked towards her cousin, anger marking her face.

"Who do you think you are!? You come waltzing into this family after ten years, thinking your better than all of us! Well guess what? Your not! Your so desperate for attention you have the need to come up with a fake husband just to cover up the fact that you had a child out of wedlock because thats how irresponsible you are!" Ashley ranted.

Hermione stayed silent throughout the whole spiel, her face showing no emotion.

"Are you finished? None of what you said was even remotely true. I don't think that I am better than any of you, it's just your stuck up ego that made you believe that. My husband, I assure you, is quite real, and will be joining me at the Early Christmas Ball. My husband and I have been married for almost a year now, so I did not have Scorpius out of wedlock. Is there anything else you would like to tell me?"

The nerve of that woman.

She could think whatever she wanted. Ashley knew the truth. Hermione granger was a know it all and a liar, and Ashley hated her.
