They say,
"Life is like a box of chocolates."
The statement is true
You start off happy
But it soon dawns on you
That you will
One day, inevitably
Have to eat the one
That tastes like toothpaste
You try to forget it
You try to enjoy the good ones while you can
But it is always in the back of your mind
Haunting
But what if you like the one that tastes like toothpaste?
What if you have a different taste in chocolate?
Well, here my friends, is where it gets different
Where choices come into play
Where you have a say in what chocolate you like from the box
Life isn't a box of chocolates
Because you never know what you are going to get
But rather,
Because of the variety of chocolates
Because of the choices you make on the chocolates
Because of the difference in each chocolate
Everyone has a different choice
A different box
Everyone has ones they like
And ones they don't
But everyone should be satisfied
With their own box at the end
And make the most of the box
For it won't last forever
