My Twin - A Poem About Deception

Did I ever mention my twin?
If not, I am sure she'd be glad to meet you

Let me warn you though, she is rather quiet
She actually only has the courage to talk when I talk
She even moves only when I do
And she only appears in certain places

Since no one talks to me
I talk to her sometimes
She shares my pain
My fear and doubt
Of the outside world

She looks just like me
From both inside and out
She has the same shoulder-length hair
And deep brown eyes
They say that no twins are ever
Completely identical
But trust me, she is!
Wait until you see her yourself!

There she is, right when you walk into the bathroom
She stands right there, see?
And she also resides in my bedroom
Right where my dresser is, she stands
And she is even in the car from time to time!

Right outside the driver and passenger door
And right at the upper-center part of the windshield

I showed my mother
And she told me it was my reflection
That it was a mirror

But you don't understand!
She is real! She is my twin...
