Ratliff's pov

I just stood there in shock. It was true. Why? How? When? So many questions are running through me.

I blinked.

I wasn't angry or mad, suprisingly. I was more upset.

"Uhh, www, wwhhy?" I stuttered.

She closed her eyes and said, "My friend blackmailed me."

My head moved a bit forward, signalling that she was to continue.

She sighed, "Lisa wanted me to use Derek, without him knowing. Lisa wanted you to find out. She wanted you to know so she could...get together with you."

She looked like she was about to cry. Laura gave her a hug and exited with Ross.

I sat next to Del and wrapped her in a huge hug.

"Don't worry, we'll get through it together."

"Your not mad?"

I chuckled, "No, I'm not."

"Ok, so what do we do?"

"Well, when we're in public, we won't act a couple and I'll get friendly with her. She'll tell me secrets. She'll ask me to be her boyfriend and I will reject her. I'll threaten to tell everyone her biggest secret, that she'll tell me while I get friendly with her, if she hurts or threatens you. Ok?"

She smiled her beautiful smile and said, "Sounds like a plan!"

Ross's pov

So now that Laura and I were up, Laura was telling me about the kids at her school.

"Yeah, so, Dylan is kinda cute, I guess. Jane is sweet but as she's Japanese, I don't really understand her. Oh yeah, Dylan was my original Prom date."

My knuckles tightened and she mentioned Dylan.

"Oh yeah, you know Parker from 'A sort of Homecoming' (1)?"

I fidgeted, "Yeah."

"He is cute and my friend asked me to talk to him about her but I don't know what I should say."

He's cute!

"Y-y-you think he's cute?"

"Yeah, I mean-Oh right."She chuckled, "Don't worry Rossy." She pressed her lips on mine.

I smiled through the kiss.

"How about you call that Park guy right now."

"Parker."

"Yeah, whatever."

"Ross, it's Midnight!"

"At least try."

She sighed, "Ugh, fine."

I watched her as she pressed on:

"Pretty Parker?!"

She chuckled, "Oh yeah the cast always get my phone somehow."

Thank God.

She retyped, WeirdParker😈

She smiled to herself.

She pressed call.

"Hello,"he picked up after a few rings.

"Hey, Parker!!"

"Laur! Sup?!" HE CALLED HER LAUR.

Laura looked at me.

"Nothing much. Sorry for calling this late, but my friend um..

"Just wanted... I started.

"Just wanted to ask you out."She repeated.

"Laura," He sighed."Thanks but can you tell her that I'm not really interested.

"Oh. Ok. Sure."

"Anyway, on a totally un-related note: Are you single?"

Her jaw dropped.

"Wha-um..no.Why'd you ask?" She said, shocked and becoming suspicious.

"Oh, just wondering if you've found your other half."

She looked at me and smiled, "Yeah, I think I have."

I grinned at her.

"Great!!! Anyway, gotta go Laura. See you soon!"

"Oh, ok. Bye!"

With that she hung up. She looked over at me.

I asked, "Snuggle?"

She laughed and laid her head on my chest as we watched TV.

Blackmailing Rydel? Jenius! I know. 👏👏

Oh, Rydel's calling me now.

"Hello?" I snapped.

"Um...hello, Lisa?" A male voice replied.

"Uh..yes.. Lisa is speaking. Who are you?"

"Ratliff."
