Theme #6

15th August to 4th September

Welcome back Mallows! It seems we have finally landed back on our Earth! Hm... but whatever shall we do?

What about we all play a game? But wait, it seems that we do not have any game pieces...

  Your task: to create a personification of a chess piece, so we can all enjoy a lovely game!  

In case you are unsure, here is the google definition of personification:

the attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something non-human, or the representation of an abstract quality in human form.

Or in other words, what would a chess piece look like as a person?

First, you must choose a colour--either WHITE or BLACK, and then you must choose a PIECE, which we have listed down below for you.

🍬 Queen

🍬 Rook

🍬 Bishop

🍬 Knight

🍬 Pawn

You can use other colours other than your selected one, but WHITE or BLACK must be your MAIN colour, so we know which team you're on. ^^

In case you are still a little confused, here is an example;

@MarshmallowMadness has chosen to personify a WHITE BISHOP, but on the other hand @GooeySmores has chosen to personify the BLACK KING.

Comment, preferable inline, 'Game on!' if you're interested in taking part in this Theme.

Remember, it isn't compulsory to join in on a theme even though you are a member, because we know how busy all our Mallows are.

For this round, title the chapter that you post your artwork in 'Marshmallow Chess!' so we can quickly find your wonderful artwork. A few Mallows forgot to do this so please remember to title the chapter appropriately.

Comment "Checkmate!" when you have posted your artwork and you're ready to begin the game! In other words, when you are done. Please do this in a separate comment as we sometimes miss it if it is done as a reply to another comment.

Once we have seen it, we will vote and comment on the chapter ^^

If we have NOT commented on your piece within a few days, make sure to notify us again; since we must have missed it due to the amount of notifications we receive on this account.

If you submitted an artwork last round and have not yet commented on at least two of your fellow Mallow's arts in the previous galleries (one on each) please go back and do so. 

We're so excited to see all our Mallows' art and, whether you're just starting out or have been drawing for years, everymallow is welcome! Remember that before you can join in on our Themes, you must be a Mallow. Head over to the start of the book, read 'Rules and Info' and then become a Mallow by filling out the form!
