I close my eyes, hope that she. Thing. It will go away but it doesn't. It stayed with me all night long. It took its hand off of me and I open my eyes thinking she was gone but she sat on the corner of my bed, I still could not see her, but I knew she was watching me. I stayed awake all night because she never left and even if she did leave I probably wouldn't have fallen asleep because I would be way too terrified! As soon as the sun comes up she disappears.
I get up so fast I think I'm the flash. I pick out clothes go take a nice hot shower and try to forget about what happened all night long. I get out of the shower and rap my towel around me, go to the sink, brush my teeth and wash my face, do my hair and then I walk to my room and get dressed. I walk downstairs to the kitchen and make a pot of coffee, when the coffee is done I grab a travel mug that's big enough to fit almost the whole pot of coffee in it, I poured as much as I could, put French vanilla creamer in it, put the lid on, grab an Apple and my bag and leave the house.
I go to all my classes tired from having that thing in my room all night but I had to stay awake.. Do you know how hard it is to stay awake during a Physics and Math class on a normal sleep let alone no sleep from being terrified out if your mind all night.. Lets just say I should have won an Oscar or something.
My day goes on and now I have photography. I walk in, sit down and Tyler looks at me
"You okay, you look like you haven't gotten any sleep"
"Yeah. I'm fine."
He didn't believe me but he also didn't want to push so he stopped talking about it and started talking about the photography project but while he was talking I fell asleep. He woke me up and class was over
"Nice to know you like listening to people when they talk to you" he says to me in a joking way
"Sorry, I didn't get any sleep last night"
I get up and walk out of the class and down the stairs, through the hallways to a door that leads outside and started walking home.
"Wait"
As I hear someone running up behind me
"Why didn't you get any sleep last night?"As I'm about to say what happened.. The things voice came into my head "You can't scream. You can't hide. I will always be by your side" and I got shivers, they ran up and down my entire body and I say nothing. I can't say anything.
"What? What were you about to say?"
"Nothing"
We don't talk for the rest of the walk.
I get home and I am so terrified to be in that house alone that I sit on the porch and wait for mom to get home.A car pulls into the driveway and mom gets out
"What are you doing out here?"
"I was waiting for you"
"Oh, that's nice but you didn't have to do that"
"I wanted to"
She hugs me and we go inside.
Its late, I tried to stay up with mom for as long as I could, we were sitting on the couch together but she woke me up and told me to go to bed.
I forget about what happened last night as I walk upstairs and get changed because I'm still half asleep. I get in bed and fall back asleep. And then it happens again.
I get no sleep that night either but I figure a nice hot shower will help me wake up. I do the same thing as I did the day before. In photography I fall asleep again. Tyler asks me why I can't sleep and I say nothing again. I go home and wait for my mom.
