After that touching moment my step mom opened the door and pulled me inside.
"Where were you!?," She screamed. Why is everyone screaming!
"Out," I spoke. She rolled her eyes at me.
"Answer me one more time like that and I will throw you out," She spoke. I smirked.
"What about when my dad asks for me?," I responded smartly. She smirked.

Uh oh.
"Oh, honey. You actually think he cares," She spoke. I gotta admit.

That stung.
"You have the nerve to talk to me about caring?! When was the last time you spent time with Bobby and Mathew?! When was the last time you actually talked to them?!," I shouted.
"Annabeth!," My dad said coming down from the stairs.
"Go to your room. Right now!," My dad shouted. I cracked a small smile.
"Gladly," I responded and went up the stairs to find Bobby and Mathew looking at me with worried expressions on their faces.
"Did mommy just threaten to throw you out of the house?," Bobby asked. I thought about what to say then nodded.
"Why?," Mathew asked. I sighed.

I knew that was coming.
"Mommy and I don't get all too well," I responded gently.
"Why?," Bobby asked. I smiled.
"Why don't you two go to your room and I'll read you a story, okay?," I asked. They both nodded and ran off into their rooms.

I was about to follow in after them when I stopped due to a voice talking to me.
"Helen and I are going out. We need you to watch the boys," My dad said. I rolled my eyes.
"Both of you need me to watch the boys or just Helen?," I questioned. He sighed then walked back down stairs.

Once I heard the door close I walked into Bobby and Mathew's room only for it to ring again. I groaned and marched back downstairs prepared to give whoever it was a peace of my mind.

I opened the door to find someone I least expected.
"Percy? What are you doing here?," I asked but didn't get an answer. Percy engulfed me into a big hug and all I could do was hug back.
"I heard everything," He said and rocked us back and forth. I sighed, trying not to cry in front of him.

He pulled away and looked at me.
"You want help watching them?," Percy asked. I smiled lightly and nodded.

An hour and a half later
Grover's POV
"Hey guys...where's Percy? I thought he was with us," Calypso asked. Everyone started exchanging ideas of where Percy could have been when I cut in.
"I know where he is," I spoke. Juniper eyed me.
"Then why didn't you say anything?!," She asked and slapped my arm. I shrugged.
"I wanted to see how long it would take for them to figure it out," I spoke to Juniper.
"Well where is he?," Nico asked.
"Follow me," I said and we began our walk. My hand placed in Juniper's the whole way.

We were outside Annabeth's house by the kitchen window where Percy and Annabeth were spraying eachother with water and soap instead of washing the dishes. They were so busy trying to drench each other they didn't noticed Annabeth's brothers?, videoing them.
"Awe," Piper gushed. I rolled my eyes.
"How is that 'awe' that's war!," I screamed which earned me yet another slap from Juniper. What is with her and slapping today?

Just then a car pulled up into there driveway. Annabeth's dad and step mom?, got out of the car.

If they saw the place Annabeth would be in so much trouble. So the gang and I did our best to keep them out of the house.

Our best wasn't enough. Annabeth's step mom?, pushed open the door and screamed.

So did all the girls. Why you might ask.

Well maybe because when the door was opened it revealed Percy and Annabeth kissing. Percy's arms around Annabeth's waist and Annabeth's arms snaked around Percy's neck.

When they heard the screams they stopped kissing and Percy pulled Annabeth closer to him, if that was even possible.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!," The elderly woman yelled. Annabeth rolled her eyes.

Yup. This is definitely her stepmother.

The two little boys walked up to Annabeth's step mom.
"Mom! You just ruined their moment!," One of the boys wined. I couldn't help but laugh.
"What's so funny goat boy?," The other asked. Goat boy?

Do I look anything like a goat?
"BOBBY DO NOT CALL HIM 'GOAT BOY'!," The stepmother screamed. The boy looked hurt.

Annabeth sighed and let go of Percy.
"Mathew...," Annabeth said gently to the boy his mom called 'Bobby'.
"She doesn't know my name, Annie," Mathew said and ran into Annabeth for a hug.
"Why don't you two go to your room. I'll be right there," Annabeth said and the two boys left. Annabeth stood up and glared at her step mother.

Oh shit.
"I told you, you should spend more time with them," Annabeth spoke. Her step mother rolled her eyes.
"I don't take orders from you," The step mother spoke.
"I'm not telling you. I'm asking you. Those boys need their mother, Helen," Annabeth said.
"Those boys are fine!," Helen yelled.
"Annabeth! Enough!," The man beside Helen yelled. Annabeth scoffed.
"You always take her side...even when you know it's wrong. What happened to you?," She asked.
"Annabeth...-dad stop. I can't keep doing this. Something's got to change," She said.
"What do you want me to change, Annabeth?," He dad asked. She sighed.
"Open your eyes. Is this really the same woman you fell in love with?," She asked.
"Annabeth-no I can't do this right now. I'll see you guys later," Annabeth spoke and grabbed her coat and walked out the door. Percy sighed and began to walk towards the door but I pulled him back.
"Where are you going?," I asked.
"She needs someone to talk to...I can help," Percy answered. I studied him carefully before a smile broke out on my face and I nodded.

I let go of his arm and watched his retreating figure thinking one and only one thing.
'Those two are perfect for each other'
