Bruce when you told him the truth about you and Steve.
"I- I am so sorry, Bruce. I never meant to hurt you. This wasn't my intention, I don't know what's gotten into me lately."
Bruce looked up to face you, he couldn't look at you like he did anymore. He only saw you and Steve now.
"Just- I can't do this now, (y/n). You know I want to try to talk this through, but not now. I need some time."
To be honest, Bruce couldn't have given you a better answer. He was way too good for you, and still he decided he wasn't.
"I understand completely, take all the time you need. And again, I'm sorry Bruce."
