Steve when you saw eachother for the first time in years.
You turned around to find the one person you'd never expected to see again, Steve Rogers.
You and Steve were a thing for a while back in time where you were in college, but a couple of years after that ended he got married to some Peggy Carter.
"(Y/n)?"
"Uh, hey Steve?"
"How long has it been? Like-"
"14 years, yeah."
"So, how are you?" Steve asked, getting more relaxed.
"I'm good, how are you? And how's Peggy?"
When you mentioned Peggy, his smile faded.
"Peggy and I got a divorce, it seems we weren't made for eachother anyways, even after 11 years of marriage.."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
Steve was always your weak spot. Now, hearing that he isn't a married man anymore, the feelings came rushing back.
"So.. do you want to get a drink or something? Or dinner?" Steve asked.
"Yeah, dinner sounds nice."
You smiled and for the first time in 14 years, you felt loved again.
