Dear Belinda,
As the days passed, I could see your smile and glow slowly dissipate. I could tell it wasn't because the novelty was slowly wearing off; it was because you thought you were going alone to the dance.
You thought that no one would notice you.
If only you knew.
Rebelle suggested we all go together since none of us planned on going with anyone. I could see the smile you gave her slip off your face the minute she looked away.
I hated seeing you this way, but I didn't say anything because I couldn't think of anything to say. If I told you I would be your date you would take it as a "just friends" thing, or laugh it off.
No matter what I did, I wouldn't have been able to make you happy.
And that's what broke my heart.
Sincerely,
Delilah
There is seriously something up the Wattpad app. I don't know if it's just mine or what, but on my phone, it says that September 20th is not published when I know for a fact it is. Is this happening to anyone else? As always, thoughts and comments are always accepted and make sure to vote if you liked this letter.
