Dear Belinda,

It was the day of the dance, and I could tell you were excited. Your smile didn't falter the whole day and when we entered the gym, your smile became wider, if that was possible.

You immediately went to Joey Ase's side. You looked at him like he was your savior and he looked at you like you were just another girl.

I wasn't going to tell you that, though. You probably would have hated me for spoiling your happiness and I didn't want to do that.

Rebecca, Rebelle, MacKenzie, and I danced together, but you danced with him as far away as you possibly could. When a slow song came on, his hands were all over you, never staying above the equator.

I wasn't the only one that noticed. I could see a grimace on your friends' faces; all of them knew he was no good for you, but they wanted to see you happy.

And you looked happy.

That's all we ever wanted.

Sincerely,

Delilah

I'm changing my update days to Saturday and Wednesday now. I wasn't able to update yesterday due to rehearsal :P. Anyway, I'm happy to announce that this chapter minus the AN has 169 words. Anyway, comment and vote and suggestions are always welcome!
