Angel flew up to me quickly. "Shadow, don't worry. I don't know what happened to you but something is wrong. You don't take hostages. Just give him back to me and leave." Her words almost made me laugh. She always tried to find an explanation to my evil, to try to prove that I was good. Why couldn't she just hate me like everyone else? A dark purple aura surrounded me and I pushed the mayor to the side. Demon wings sprouted from my back and fangs began to form, a purple sword appeared and I took it. Angel started to back away and I flew at her, successfully tackling her.
She flew into the air and I followed. Angel turned around and launched a ball of light energy at me, I dodged it easily. Sending dark energy blasts at her, I sliced her arm with my sword. In an attempt to knock me down, she used all her power to sent a constant energy blast at me and I fired at her too. Our magic collided in the middle and we each tried to overwhelm the other my sending more power until it became unstable and exploded.
