"Honey, aren't you excited, this is the first day of school." Mom said.
"I'm bored." I said, trying to finish the pancake.
"Yeah, make sure you got better grades this year." Dad said.
"I don't care." I replied, in the past few years, I've been getting average scores for the past few years. Not too high, not too low.
"Honey, why are you always so bored."
"Because there's no entertainment for me."

"Not interested." I replied, trying to erase the memory of the people laughing at me because I can't move my king.
"I'm gonna fix the attic." Mom said, slowly going upstairs.
I catch dad's attention. " Why does mom always fix the attic, is she hiding something." I asked
Dad didn't reply instead, he look at his watch," Look your late already."
"Don't fool me dad, you said a long time ago that your watch is advanced."
He sighed like he didn't want to tell the truth." Yes, she been hiding something, she hiding a musical instrument because she says it was so precious and she didn't want it to be stealed but nothing personal." He replied.
With that I grab my bag and open the door with a question in my mind,
" Why doesn't mom just buy a safe."
