Jeremy crept down the vacant hallway. Every slight sound his shoes made seemed to echo loudly on the hardwood floor, making him cringe. Trying to not wake anybody, since it was two in the morning, Jeremy snuck out the back door. He shut the door with a small click, and walked down the patio into the garden. As he stood there, he peered up at the large expanse of sky looming above him. Swirls of light and color, yet around it, dark blue that seems to swallow up everything in its path. Yet, there were stars that still shone despite the darkness. Jeremy settled down among the grass, and thoughtfully examined each little gleaming pinpoint of light.
"What if someone up there is looking at our sun, which to that person would be a star, and wondered if there was someone here looking back at him?" Jeremy wondered.
He suddenly thought of Peter, his crush at school. Peter's blue eyes always had this sparkle in them; a sparkle that reminded Jeremy of the beautiful stars.
"I wonder if he ever gazes at the stars too," Jeremy asked himself in his mind.

*Peter's pov*

Peter gazed across the ocean, feeling each wave that crashed across the sand in his soul. With outstretched arms, Peter felt the salty breeze ruffle through his hair.
"Peter? What are you doing out this late?" asked a sleepy voice behind him.
"I just needed some time to unwind, mom. I'm okay. Go back to bed and get some rest," He said with a sweet smile.
"Night," he added.
His mom stood with a questioning look, but drowsiness soon overtook her and she went back inside the beach house.
Sigh. As Peter stood there on the beach, he started to think of his crush, Jeremy.
"I don't think he will ever love someone like me," he muttered to himself, "I'm simply not his type, I guess."
Sadness filled his gut, and he collapsed into the sand. He felt a cold tear run down his cheek and drip off his chin into the sand.
"I wish he were mine. I can tell he doesn't like me. He will never love someone as dumb as me." he muttered bitterly to himself.

*that's all folks!* -Looney Toons
Lol well the moral of this one is that even if you feel like the one you love doesn't love you back, never loose hope, because you never know for sure unless you take chances.
